In the Studio...
It's about 1:30am on Sunday night, and everything but vocals are complete on The Broken Bride EP. We've been running pretty much on schedule, it's just that we keep coming up with more things we want to do,a nd more ways to make it better. Luckily our producer has been really cool and allows us to engineer and take the controls when he leaves or goes to bed at night. As a result we've been able to accomplish a lot and do all the stuff we want to do. It's really really sounding amazing. We're definitely all pushing each other and getting the best out of everyone for the whole thing. I know i keep saying it, but i CANNOT WAIT for people to hear this stuff. Our friend Kevin from Thos stopped by and hung out last night (and did a little clapping as well!) and his reaction was great. The music is all over the place and we're pretty happy so far.
in other news.. i've had Hardee's all of the 5 consecutive days we've been here and i had a milkshake each time. baaawww. Between the 5 of us, we've watched the movie "THE EDGE" starring alec baldwin and anthony hopkins 37 times this week. thanks to everyone in Union for the letters and stuff on our van. and thanks for the coupons, stacy... i've used several.
so will you get it done? what will it sound like? what happens to the guy in the cave? does he save his wife? when's it coming out? when can i hear it? will there be a tour? are you coming to Atlanta? are you EVER coming to Utah? will you play the songs from the EP between now and the release? can i hear it online? what's a moog? ....STAY TUNED.
